Christmas Gifting, Received

As usual, my husband and dear ones went overboard with gifts, and I received so many amazing presents.

Here are some of the lovely items I was given... (I'm only showing the ones that are online because I'm far too lazy to take photos of stuff that's not.)

For the Love of Scarves

I am a lover of scarves. You might say I collect them (at least, that's a kind way to put my obsession). I wear scarves year-round... lightweight ones in the summer, big flowy ones in the spring and fall, and thick warm ones in the winter.

I saw this brilliantly done video about 25 ways to wear a scarf, and had to share.

And here are some of the scarves I'm loving these days...

Wishlist: Shower Curtains

I'm planning out a minor bathroom update, and I need to get a new shower curtain. I've been searching high and low for what is my perfect shower curtain: something white with elegant details. Why is it so hard for the manufacturers to make this? Everything I find is too industrial-looking or frou-frou. I finally found where they've been hiding these perfect shower curtains: Anthropologie. They have several options that I simply adore.... except for the price tag. Unless I get completely desperate or win a decent sum of money, these babies are out of my wallet's reach. But they are lovely, aren't they?

Sculpted Mums ... this is my favorite.
Bustled ... so sweet!

Tender Falls ... love this! Looks like a party dress.
Diamond Falls ... this one is on sale and would actually be perfect if it weren't for the blue details.
Tazetta ... beautiful embroidery!

Grasshopper Chair by Tectona, $398

Every Ink + Wit design steals my heart, and this foxy tea towel is no exception.

P.S. We are extending the deadline for Indie Craft Parade applications until Sunday, June 20. This is for all you procrastinators! Actually, we realized that we weren't going to be working them over until Monday, so we figured we'd give you all the weekend too. So if you or someone you know has been dragging their heels about applying, here's your chance!

Wishlist

Hello, Friday. I'm glad to see you.

I had a fun-filled but crazy week, and I'm happy to wrap it up. Not that next week will be any less jam-packed, but at least I don't have to think about it now. I'm off to Charlotte with a girlfriend for the weekend, and I'll be back with a surprise on Monday.

To start your weekend off on a nice-looking note, here's a few pretty things that I'm wishing for.
